Retirement is where you have too much time on your hands and you end up doing silly things like playing with computers and volunteering for genealogical organizations. Well I guess this is where I am - digitizing grandparents and keywording books for our local genealogical society.

Just for information I  born 1943 in Oklahoma City, OK and raised as a military brat in Hawaii, California, North Carolina and Oklahoma. As a proud AOPi, I graduated from Central State College (now University of Central Oklahoma) in Edmond, OK in 1965.  After serving 20 years in the Navy, I retired in 1988 as a Commander and since then, my "Navy Issue" husband, Roy, and I have been enjoying the beautiful country and easy living of wild North West (wild in the sense that we get an occasional deer wandering through our yard).
